This course is required for all crew designated on the muster list to assist passengers in emergency situations.
The course provides underpinning knowledge for dealing with crowds in emergencies, rules of crowd management and factors affecting human behaviour in emergencies. Participants will be able to work independently in controlling crowds in an emergency on board passenger ships.
The course meets the requirements for STCW Section A-V/3.
